Melville Shipping Limited further recognizes the importance of supporting efforts to protect our environment. This company is therefore committed to a Health, Safety and Environmental Management (HSE) Policy and System that aims to prevent occupational accidents, injuries, and environmental problems during the course of our operations.

Melville Shipping Limited further operates on the principle that no task is so urgent that Safety, Health, or environmental policies should be compromised.Our processes and resultant services are developed with HSE considerations at the forefront. We are committed to the continuous development and improvement of our HSE System.Melville Shipping Limited’s Health, Safety, and Environment Policy governs the practices of all staff and contracted parties at its offices and all port facilities in Trinidad. It also provides principles for activities involving the movement of goods and personnel from one point to the other.

Our Health, Safety and Environment Policy is divided into five major categories:
